Job Summary
The Supervisor, Production Operations is a hands-on and people management position at the facility responsible for the operations of multiple production lines within a production facility. This job manages the daily operations of a facility to ensure smooth operations of the facilities.
Responsibilities
Manages resources and shuffles operation staff as needed to ensure production schedule needs meet or exceed the required level.
Provide required day to day technical assistance to the production team. Develops direct reports in technical and people management skills.
Leads process improvement projects as needed.
Defines process improvement opportunities based off of reports and feedback from direct reports.
Analytical skills to monitor production output and check for compliance with specifications.
Approves vacations, timecards, payroll, performance reviews, and general people management.
Leads, mentors and supports employees career development.
Qualifications (minimum requirements)
3+ years of experience in production
BA, BS in Engineer, Production or related field
Medical device or food industry manufacturing experience
English: Intermediate or Avanzado
Ability to lead and foster a team of 50+ employees
Software: Intermediate - Excel, PowerBI (AS400 and SAP preferred)
Hour of work: 6am - 6pm (12 hour shift) mostly Thursday through Sunday.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
The ideal candidate will serve as the ER Partners for our Costa Rica manufacturing site within the Latin America Operations Employee Relations Hub.
