The Manager for Programs and Engagement (Asia) “MPE” works with the University leadership to promote and execute a robust outreach and engagement strategy across Asia. The primary objective of this role is to elevate Georgetown’s profile in the region by fostering strong connections with alumni, donors, institutional partners, prospective students (and their families) and lending support to program development and delivery in Asia. Key to this role is the ability to build and manage relationships with internal university stakeholders including senior administrators, faculty, and staff, in order to communicate to partners in Asia a deep understanding of the university’s academic programs and institutional priorities in the region.
Work Interactions and Work Mode Designation
The MPE reports to the Vice President for Global Engagement and works closely with Office of Advancement on leading donor relation strategies. S/he supports the College’s educational partnerships in and assists Georgetown leadership on engagement trips across Asia.
This position has been designated as Remote. Please note that work mode designations are regularly reviewed in order to meet the evolving needs of the University. Donor Relations
Ø Work with University leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive outreach and engagement strategy tailored specifically for the Asian region in alignment with GU’s goals and

Ø Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and expansion of Georgetown's presence and impact in the Asian region.
Ø S/he will work to increase Georgetown's visibility and reputation in Asia by strategically leveraging existing resources and networks.
Ø Will work with the Office of Advancement on donor relations.
Event Management
Ø Organize and facilitate events, workshops, and meetings to engage stakeholders and promote Georgetown's initiatives and offerings in Asia.
Ø S/he will be responsible for the virtual/on-ground execution and success of all region-related events by overseeing logistical management, including scheduling, room reservations, issuing invitations and follow ups, and arranging travel.
Ø Manage budgets, resources, and timelines associated with programs and engagement activities in Asia while maintaining compliance with university policies.
Ø The SPM serves as a frontline GU representative for region events and host at all related convenings.
Community Outreach & Engagement
Ø Collaborate with other regional managers and counterparts within the University's global engagement network to share best practices, resources, and lessons learned.
Ø Stay abreast of cultural nuances and regional dynamics across various Asian countries to tailor engagement approaches and strategies effectively.
Ø S/he drafts and/or edits event announcements, web materials, social media posts, and other Initiative communications outreach, and assists with other publications and marketing efforts as needed.

About the Position
As a member of the Asia Pacific (APAC) Sales team, the Senior Energy Market Analyst will be responsible for engaging directly with both potential and existing clients to increase sales and ensure existing clients are well serviced. The Senior member of the team will also lead and manage software implementation projects and oversee more junior members of the team.
The Senior Energy Market Analyst will work closely with the Vice President and Head of Solutions, Sales and Business Development Executives to achieve common goals. Success will be measured based upon the successful completion of implementation projects and meeting technical requirements when performing sales. This role works in close collaboration with a team of technical subject matter experts and software developers. Leadership and strong communication skills are required to guide more junior members of the team.

Key Stakeholder Relationships
This position works closely and collaboratively with all Energy Exemplar staff but in particular:
• You will present and demonstrate Energy Exemplar’s products to key individuals from companies including but not limited to senior managers and executives.
• You will interact directly with potential clients and comppaborate to build concept models, provide training and advise on modelling techniques.
• You will interact directly with the existing client base, providing answer to technical support questions relating to the product properties, settings and features. You will provide troubleshooting and general modelling advance and guidance to clients and ensure licenses are activated and re-activated in a timely and correct manner.
• You will work closely with the product development teams to resolve technical issues and generate product development stories as a result of client cases. You will also provide assistance in QA testing new product releases.

About the Position
As a member of the Asia Pacific (APAC) Sales team, the Senior Energy Market Analyst will be responsible for engaging directly with both potential and existing clients to increase sales and ensure existing clients are well serviced. The Senior member of the team will also lead and manage software implementation projects and oversee more junior members of the team.
The Senior Energy Market Analyst will work closely with the Vice President and Head of Solutions, Sales and Business Development Executives to achieve common goals. Success will be measured based upon the successful completion of implementation projects and meeting technical requirements when performing sales. This role works in close collaboration with a team of technical subject matter experts and software developers. Leadership and strong communication skills are required to guide more junior members of the team.

Key Stakeholder Relationships
This position works closely and collaboratively with all Energy Exemplar staff but in particular:
• You will present and demonstrate Energy Exemplar’s products to key individuals from companies including but not limited to senior managers and executives.
• You will interact directly with potential clients and comppaborate to build concept models, provide training and advise on modelling techniques.
• You will interact directly with the existing client base, providing answer to technical support questions relating to the product properties, settings and features. You will provide troubleshooting and general modelling advance and guidance to clients and ensure licenses are activated and re-activated in a timely and correct manner.
• You will work closely with the product development teams to resolve technical issues and generate product development stories as a result of client cases. You will also provide assistance in QA testing new product releases.
• You will assist Account Management with retention calls and visits with clients.

Technical Sales Support
• Commercially apply advanced knowledge of PLEXOS for new client demonstrations.
• Build Proof of Concept models to assist clients during PLEXOS trial.
• Provide training and travel as required to existing customers using PLEXOS (advanced and customised level).
• Prepare highly technical proposals and tenders.
• Support the Vice President/ Head of Solutions, Sales with sales inquiries and sales conversions.
Internal Support
• Provide advanced technical advice to Energy Exemplar sales and support staff.
Provide technical advice and mentorship to Energy Market Analysts.
• Oversee and review work done by Energy Market Analysts.
• Build, calibrate and maintain accurate simulation ready datasets.
• Communicate customer requirements with the development team.
• Research and assist in formulating white papers, webinars and demonstrations to market PLEXOS.
• Other admin tasks as required by the job
Implementation Support
• Project manage implementations projects as required.
• Interact with clients at a technical and project level to enhance their modelling capability.
• Troubleshoot possible dataset issues and liaise with development team.
Learning and Development
• Maintain knowledge of PLEXOS software at an Advanced level.
• Maintain a high level of energy / power market knowledge, news, trends and industry developments.
