Job Responsibilities
Develop Strategic Priorities and Transformation Plans
- Support Senior Management in developing the Company’s mid and long-term strategic priorities and transformation plans that will support our core mission(s). This includes analyzing strategic risks, opportunities, business problems, gathering data, discovering insights, delivering recommendations and creating high-value and long-lasting impact through cross-functional projects, both locally and overseas.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends, company’s data and analytics findings as well as newly-commissioned research outcomes, to derive relevant and actionable insights on media trends, technologies, platforms and consumption habits may impact the company’s business objectives and operations.
- Translate insights into actionable strategies and roadmaps across business units so as to build alignment between business units’ operations and company’s strategic priorities and goals.
- Work closely across business units to develop use cases and build a business intelligence framework to promote a data-driven, audience-centric decision-making culture across the company.
Implement Strategic Priorities and Transformation Plans
- Drive high-impact business projects and initiatives across business units to support the realization of the company’s mid- to long-term strategic priorities. Track the development of these key projects, including project milestones and KPIs to ensure that project implementation is in line with envisaged timeline and outcomes.
- Work closely with and across business units and functions to define, direct and drive their transformation plans. This includes understanding their current business priorities, operations, and ground-level realities before aligning their operations processes and resources-planning with the company’s long-term strategic priorities. This also includes distilling issues or concerns in each department and finding ways to improve business efficiency and effectiveness with the aid of technology and streamlined processes.
- Coordinate change management efforts across the Company. Put in place systems, processes and initiatives to engender a culture of innovation and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Others
- Undertake special projects assigned by Senior Management, as well as secretariat duties for strategy meetings.
Individuals to be recruited should possess the following traits and skills:
• Economics, business, communications/media studies or any other relevant undergraduate or post-graduate degrees.
• At least 3 years of working experience in a research or consulting role, preferably in the media and entertainment-related industry.
• Possess strong analytical skills, strategic acumen and curiosity in industry trends and developments.
• Passionate and evidence-driven individuals with an open mind for a wide range of perspectives and thinking styles.
• Independent, self-motivated, resilient, resourceful, a good team player and ability to multi-task.
• Strong in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and any other relevant analytics software.
• Excellent written and oral communications and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of data analytics and visualization skills will be favorably considered
