Job Overview:
The primary role of the Wealth Associate is to provide investment and relationship management support to an advisor or team of advisors, including any and all daily, monthly, and annual research and reporting tasks to support the end-client's needs as well as manage a portion of the client book of business. The Wealth Associate helps the advisor maintain his or her practice and deliver positive results for the advisor’s clients through their support role.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent customer services skills (both verbal and written), and a proven ability to adapt to a changing work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and own portion of client relationships in advisor team book of business
- Effectively deliver and launch sales process discipline of advisor or advisor team set in helping to prospect for new business and expand client relationships
- Possess knowledge and demonstration ability in presenting total wealth management solutions inclusive of investments, risk management/insurance, and tax/estate planning
- Assist Financial Advisors in investment research, selection, and overall financial planning
- Develop customized asset allocation strategies and investment solutions for clients
- Provide support for overall client relationship building, business development activities, and effective service model execution
- Perform business analytics as needed to support financial advisors in the growth of the business
- Analyze and interpret portfolio performance reviews and make recommendations to financial advisors for potential change
Requirements:
- Proactive self-starter that is organized with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Analytical and logical approach to problem solving
- Effective oral and written communication; able to explain complex information clearly and simply
- Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build and foster relationships with clients, coworkers, and internal/external partners
- Ability to analyze and research information
- Prior customer service experience (financial services background preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; CRM applications
- 5 years of experience in client service, within the finance sector preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Business Administration preferred
- Professional accreditation preferred: CFP, CFA, ChFC, CIMA, CPA
Licenses Required: Series 7 and Series 66

Pay Range:
$69,760-$104,640/year
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
