Essential Job Accountabilities
Comprehend and administer a safety program that provides for a safe work environment that meets or exceeds Granite’s Annual Incident Goal, and fosters a culture that expects participation at all levels

Supervise total construction effort to ensure the project is constructed per design, budget, and schedule and is staffed appropriately
Execute construction of new, ground-up structures, including all aspects of new building construction including site development, utilities, foundations, structural, interior finishes, etc.
Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions for new, ground-up building construction and provide input with scheduling, engineering, internal and subcontractor resources, and material control to make sure project objectives are met
Supervise and direct field supervisors, superintendents, and other contractors to ensure productivity, efficient use of materials & equipment, and contractual performance of the project are met
Interface with all on-site work teams as required, to resolve problems, ensure quality, safety, scheduling, and achieving schedules in support of overall project objectives
Assist project management in developing and implementing project Work Plans and procedures, working documents, and standards to ensure project goals are achieved
Comply, understand, and support corporate safety, quality, and environmental initiatives to ensure a compliant work environment
Recruit/recommend and hire qualified individuals to maintain high-performing teams
Mentor construction, craft, and engineering staff to ensure individual development and Granite standards are met. Analyze training needs and opportunities and work with senior leadership to ensure needs are being met
Education
High School Diploma or equivalency.
Work Experience
10+ years of supervisory or equivalent construction experience specifically for new, ground-up construction of structures and industrial warehouse-type buildings
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); company policies, procedures, and standards; and union jurisdiction, labor agreements, and negotiations essentials
Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory, and planning skills required
Excellent management skills

General Summary
Essential Job Accountabilities
Implement Quality Management System to ensure construction and materials meet quality standards by analyzing and interpreting testing results.
Evaluate laboratory programs and testing protocols and make recommendations in order to facilitate state and national lab accreditation programs. Review and analyze Technician and Inspector certification requirements and evaluate compliance.
Supervise technical staff to ensure compliance with quality programs. Evaluate Technician and Inspector performance and assist management with job performance coaching. Evaluate vendor performance including services provided by third-party engineering firms.
Apply substantive expertise during pre-bid, construction, and post construction phases of a project by working with plants/materials, construction, sales and estimating teams to ensure quality standards and project profitability are achieved. Evaluate proposed courses of action for safety, contract compliance and profitability and propose alternative courses of action where appropriate.
Assist with customer service issues to ensure customer satisfaction levels are maintained.
Support QC/QA projects by analyzing project data and communicating recommended courses of action, including the propriety of obtaining third-party verification of testing results. Further support projects by interpreting Granite internal and owner/agency requirements and preparing quality control plans. Evaluate project requirements and use quality control software to prepare tracking databases designed to ensure satisfactory project completion.
Participate in and promote Granite’s safety procedures to promote a safe working environment including compliance with OSHA and MSHA rules and regulations.

General Summary
Essential Job Accountabilities
Perform accurate project revenue and cost financial forecasting to ensure corporate profitability goals are met.
Manage a staff of up to 10 full-time employees including hiring, firing, and completing performance reviews.
Coordinate with estimators and project controls group to establish budget.
Lead estimating efforts on vertically integrated projects to ensure accurate and consistent bid to build process.
Coordinate efforts with estimators, large project sponsor, and manager of construction to manage resources to meet project schedule.
Participate in bid review and bid closing to ensure accuracy of bid and evaluate project feasibility; work with estimating team to develop bid schedule.
Coordinate with large project sponsor, manager of construction and project team to develop comprehensive plan for project start up and successful kick-off.
Provide environment where dynamic project communication occurs between Project Engineers, Foremen, Superintendents and Construction Manager to ensure work is accomplished in an efficient, profitable, and safe manner.
Ensure proper job controls, i.e. quantities, costs, revenue and schedule.
Establish and maintain working relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors, inspectors, etc., providing customer service to develop long-term partnerships with client base.
Ensure accurate construction reports for the job allowing for continuous improvement in performance.
Run projects at profitability levels to meet or exceed expected margins.
Comply, understand, and support corporate safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.
Education
BS degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience in heavy civil construction.
Work Experience
Minimum of ten (10) year’s progressive project experience in heavy civil environments.
Minimum of five (5) years experience in paving, dirt, and grading in either private or public environments.
Experience as a Large Projects Superintendent preferred.
Experience in Design-build projects preferred.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
Knowledge of construction paving, underground, concrete and grading practices.
Knowledge and understanding of union agreements and prevailing wage issues.
Maintain ability to work in high production environment.
Demonstrated decision-making skills.
Excellent leadership skills.
Excellent supervisory communication and organizational skills.
Accuracy at all times.

General Summary
Essential Job Accountabilities
Support the Asset Managers on a variety of day-to-day projects and administrative activities for the owned-leased real estate portfolio to ensure daily tasks are handled in an efficient manner.
Review, update, and maintain the integrity of property, financial data and documents to ensure consistency with financial and property systems.
Generate quarterly reports to ensure compliance with timely and accurate reporting.
Procure property valuations by utilizing the best assessment criteria to support management decision making.
Manage compliance with lease agreements and sales contract to promote effective sales and lease efforts.
Administer real estate transaction closings to ensure accurate and effective escrow process and internal communication.
Assist with management of real property leases to support management decisions and financial reporting obligations.
Provide ad-hoc real estate analysis and support to business units to promote sound management decisions.
Assist management with due diligence process as it relates to property acquisitions and dispositions to ensure accurate processes are being followed.
Support internal and external parties with real estate transactions and business objectives
Education
Bachelor’s degree required
Work Experience
5+ years’ progressive real estate office administrative or project management experience
3+ years’ real estate asset/property management experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrated project management skills along with strong spreadsheet skills and ability to work with financial models using Excel
Must be able to work independently, to initiate analysis appropriate to a particular transaction and to carry forward issues to their completion
Must actively participate in project discussions with internal and external stakeholders and be able to competently represent their analysis
Strong problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to break down problems into meaningful parts and arrive at well-thought out conclusions
Attention to detail/accuracy, quick learner and internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills
Ability to set priorities, organize work and work in high production environment while responding quickly and effectively under pressure, changing priorities and tight timelines/deadlines
Excellent consultative and communication skills (oral and written) and ability to interface effectively with all levels of employees, management and external customers
Team player who can operate effectively within a matrix management environment

Base Salary Range:
$60,623.00 - $100,255.00Pay may vary based upon relevant experience, skills, location, and education among other factors.
