As the Director of Product Management for IdeaExchange & Customer Feedback, you will be responsible for leading the vision, strategy, and execution of Salesforce’s largest customer feedback platforms: our public-facing IdeaExchange (ideas.salesforce.com) and internal “Voice of the Customer” tool (used by customer-facing Salesforce employees to capture customer feedback). You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success to deliver a best-in-class experience that empowers our customers to collaborate and drive product innovation. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, customer-centric, and passionate about leveraging the power of community to shape the future of Salesforce’s product roadmaps.
Responsibilities
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the IdeaExchange and the Voice of the Customer tool.
- Drive close partnership with Engineering and UX to define, scope, prioritize, and deliver features that meet stakeholder and customer needs.
- Work closely with program management and marketing colleagues to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of the IdeaExchange and VOC.
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team of 2-3 direct reports.
- Define success metrics and KPIs to measure the impact of our customer feedback tools on product innovation, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to drive alignment and collaboration.
- Represent Salesforce and the IdeaExchange platform at conferences and customer meetings.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years of experience leading product teams.
- Proven track record of driving product strategy, execution, and delivery in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end product development lifecycle, including the ability to translate product requirements into actionable roadmaps and manage backlogs. Familiar and comfortable with agile/scrum development methodologies.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders at all levels, and write clear and concise documentation.
- Experience working in a SaaS environment, preferably with knowledge of Salesforce products and ecosystem.
- Passion for technology and innovation, with a customer-centric mindset and a desire to create exceptional user experiences.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder a plus.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $204,400 to $296,400.
For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $223,000 to $323,400.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
