We are seeking a Consultant Clinical Psychologist to lead and develop community psychological services for older people in East Kent. As an experienced psychologist and older adult clinician, the post holder will provide professional, clinical, managerial and strategic leadership.





The post holder will join a large team (40+ staff) of psychological practitioners for older people in Kent and Medway including art and music therapists, clinical and counselling psychologists, systemic and CBT therapists, assistant psychologists and Clinical Associate Psychologists.

The post holder will provide clinical services at a high level of expertise, supporting and advising colleagues on all issues concerned with psychological practice for older people and providing expert clinical consultation and professional guidance to other psychological practitioners.

Within easy distance of the South Thames Clinical Psychology Training Centre, our service welcomes a large number of trainees and takes advantage of post-qualification training courses and events. There are also good links to undergraduate courses and student placements.

Your new role

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Senior Construction Account Executive or Client Director with CAR experience will contribute to your success in securing this role. Experience of working to multiple priorities and working across a range of tasks Educated to Good standards ( i.e. A Level or equivalent) or enough experience in a previous role to demonstrate suitable skills and ideally minimum Cert CII qualified.

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Principal Scientist (Associate Director Level) in Stromal Immunology to be based at the Francis Crick Institute, London.

In this role, you will identify unmet medical needs, evaluate and apply novel experimental approaches and impact basic research and translational medicine.

Working collaboratively with our discovery teams at the Francis Crick Institute and the London Bioscience Innovation Centre you will apply cutting edge lab technologies and Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning tools to identify drug discovery targets for potential medicines that could tackle inflammatory/autoimmune diseases and improve our understanding of how our potential new therapies and medicines work at a cellular and molecular level in the patients we serve.

• Leading from the bench, you will design and execute your own experiments and supervise the experiments of others to identify and validate novel targets in immunology/ inflammation/autoimmunity

The leader will orchestrate strategic work across the market to improve volume and quality of results within the cardiovascular service line including but not limited to the strategies to allocate organizational resources as well as build strategic partnerships to drive new cardiovascular service line business development.

Essential Job Functions:

• Collaborates with Market leadership including hospital operational leaders, medical group operational and clinical leaders as well as community partners to design, lead and implement cardiovascular service line strategy for the market.

• In partnership with Strategy Department, conducts thorough business and financial analyses on service line products and services, new projects, financial forecasts, volume projections, and proposed capital investments.

• Collaborate with operational leaders across the continuum of care to execute cardiovascular service line strategies to improve access to safe and high-quality patient care.

• Ensures a physician alignment strategy for cardiovascular service lines.  Identify needs of physician leaders and referring physicians in the cardiovascular service line and create plans for innovation and satisfaction.  Partner with the VP of Service lines and Group Strategy leaders to ensure physician succession planning is implemented and geographic access planning is implemented. Suggest and support clinical quality benchmark initiatives.

• Manage results of a balanced scorecard incorporating operational, clinical, market share, and financial metrics to measure success of cardiovascular service line business plans and monitor performance.

• Leads efforts to achieve cardiovascular specific accreditation and center of excellence designations.

• Researches and advances innovation of products and procedures to support growth and continuity of care.

• Collaborates with Marketing Department to implement local and market strategies for marketing, digital, and consumer experience strategies regarding service line priorities and business plans.

• Evaluates resources across the market and develops action plans with Market leadership to maximize cost effectiveness and utilization; while supporting a culture that fosters trust, high reliability, safety and quality.

• Recommends and implements plans that uphold and improve the experience of patients, families, customers, associates and providers.

• Ensures programs and processes of services lines are in compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery, and the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.

• Develops the talent of the organization in direct reporting relationships and cross-market teams; effectively attracts, mentors, and develops future leaders of BSMH and Catholic Health Care.

It is an exciting time to join Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust (LSCft).

As LSCft embarks on a new chapter with the launch of the ambitious ‘Quadruple Aim’ strategy, and following a recent rating as ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the trust is now entering the next phase of our improvement journey.

Following the appointment of a new Chief Medical Officer who is due to commence their role in July 24, we are seeking a new Deputy Chief Medical Officer to provide senior medical leadership as part of the forward thinking and ambitious medical leadership team here in LSCft.

The Deputy CMO is a critical role within the medical directorate, organisation and wider system.

A variety of clinical posts, in different specialities and localities are available to choose from for the post holder.

The DCMO will deputise for the CMO as required in relation to any aspect of the CMO portfolio, e.g. clinical audit and effectiveness, medical workforce transformation and professional standards, medical education, medicines management, Mental Health Act, Research & Development, health inequalities and the Mortality Review Programme.

The post holder will deputise for the CMO at executive meetings, board meetings and other committees e.g. Local Negotiating Committee and other groups as required.

The role will support the CMO, executive team and board with the transformation plans, helping to coordinate and deliver evidence based change across clinical networks. They will support the continued engagement of medical staff in clinical transformation and continuous improvement.

They will lead the ongoing medical workforce transformation programme and work closely with Network Medical Directors, the Director of Medical Education and others to ensure delivery of this transformation, and to support effective inclusive recruitment processes for medical staff.

They may provide direct line management to the Network Medical Directors (NMDs).

They will lead the development of relevant policies (and contributing to other policies where required) relating to safe and effective medical staffing e.g. job planning, leave (annual, professional and study leave), out of hours cover, acting down, recruitment etc.

This post would be an ideal developmental opportunity for a move to executive level leadership, and developmental opportunities such as the Nye Bevan Programme and Shadow Board will be encouraged.

As the Regional Data Centre Director reporting directly to the Global Head of Data Centre Operations, you will work closely with the Operations team, making your mark in a number of ways:

· Oversees all aspects of data centre operations including the operation, maintenance and repair of all mission critical equipment and systems supporting a 24x7 data centre operation to achieve 100% uptime and compliance with customer SLAs.

· Provides support and technical advice to the Data Centre Operations Directors and site teams in all aspects of their roles to ensure efficient and successful data centre operations

Your Day to Day

· Reports and documents operational strategy improvements to ensure the highest level of availability and operational efficiency is achieved for the portfolio.

· Acts as a key escalation contact, both internally and externally, for emergency events impacting data centre services including technical, operational and security.

· Provides support to the Data Centre Directors and site teams to facilitate emergency responses procedures, resource coordination, customer communication, root cause analysis and post event remediation.

· Develop strong relationships with customer operational management contacts.

· Provides support to drive thorough root cause analysis and produce detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders

· In conjunction with Data Centre Directors and site teams responsible for contractual compliance, including SLA management, for 3rd party vendors including; FM Services, Smart Hands & Security vendors as well as any other 3rd party vendors (including soft services) engaged directly by AirTrunk.

· Responsible for managing internal audits of standard operating procedures, sequence of operations and maintenance standards to guarantee compliance with AirTrunk and industry standards.

· Oversees the local change management processes and other documentation required by law, e.g. SWMS, including review and approval of Method of Procedures (MOPs) to support the Facilities Managers

· Ensures adherence to security programs across the data centre portfolio. • In conjunction with Data Centre Directors and site teams responsible for ensuring the operating standards of the data centre supports various accreditation initiatives, including, but not limited to, ISO 27001, SOC1, SOC 2 etc. as may be required by AirTrunk.

· Oversees data centre operations to maintain compliance with local regulatory requirements including environmental, building, fire, electrical, hydraulic, occupational health & safety.

· Supports the Operations Directors with OPEX/CAPEX budgeting, forecasting and reporting requirements.

· Ensures data centre budgets stay within financial targets.

· Ensures adherence to financial control procedures for the data centres.

· Presents improvements that generate operational and financial efficiencies, including the development and presentation of the business case, to the wider Management team.

· Prepares reporting of operational metrics, data and risks for Management oversight and control for both day-to-day reporting and long-term trend analysis.

· Support the Global Head of Operations for the overall strategic planning, long term goals and management responsibilities of the Operations Team.

· This role is the direct line manager for the Operations Directors and is responsible for ensuring optimum data centre performance across the portfolio

Requirements

· 7 years or more experience in a critical facilities environment is a must

· 3 years or more experience directly managing employees

· Procurement and contract negotiation experience

· Electrical or mechanical trade background not essential but highly desirable

· Leadership & Communication Skills – Ability to comprehend, analyse and interpret complex operational documents

· Ability to establish and review Method of Procedure documents, incident reports, emergency event summaries, root cause analysis reports, CAPEX/OPEX budget forecasts/reports and O&M manuals.

· Ability to deliver effective presentations on data centre operations to customers, peers and management
