Pros: The biggest plus for me is the genuine work flexibility. As a Mid-Weight UX & Digital Designer working in London, it's crucial to have options, and Helium really delivers. I can often work remotely when needed, and the hours are quite adaptable, which helps a lot with my personal life. The creative team is also very collaborative, always willing to share knowledge and help each other out on digital design projects. There are good opportunities to learn new tools and refine user experience
Cons: While the overall workload is manageable, there are definitely peak periods, especially right before client deadlines, where the hours can stretch a bit. Sometimes the project approval processes can feel a little slow, which occasionally delays starting new phases of digital marketing campaigns or UX iterations. I also think more structured career progression paths, beyond just project-based learning, would be beneficial for digital creative professionals looking for long-term growth within
Advice to Management: Continue to foster the excellent work flexibility and collaborative spirit that makes Helium a great place to work in the London digital scene. Perhaps look into streamlining some of the internal approval workflows to enhance project efficiency. Also, developing clearer roadmaps for career growth
