Good Company for Driven Sales Pros
Pros: I've really enjoyed my time as a Strategic Account Manager at NWPX Infrastructure. The sales team provides great support and learning opportunities in the infrastructure industry. The outside sales role offers excellent work flexibility, letting me manage my schedule and client visits effectively across the Tracy, CA region. Management trusts us to build relationships without micromanagement, which is a huge plus.
Cons: While NWPX Infrastructure is generally stable, job security can feel somewhat tied to market fluctuations, typical for the infrastructure industry. Internal communication could be clearer on strategic shifts, sometimes causing uncertainty for the sales team. The approval process for larger deals can also be a bit slow, impacting sales velocity and client responsiveness.
Advice to Management: Focus on enhancing internal communication around market strategies and product updates to empower the sales team more effectively. Streamlining the approval processes for major deals would also significantly improve our responsiveness to client needs and competitive advantage.
