Pros: I appreciate the flexibility Baird, Hampton & Brown offers, especially the hybrid work model which has been a lifesaver for balancing personal commitments with work demands. The team I'm on is fantastic – very collaborative and supportive. You genuinely feel like you're part of a team here, and that makes coming to work much more enjoyable. There's also a good amount of learning opportunities, especially if you're keen to pick up new skills.
Cons: While flexibility is a strong suit, workload can become intense during peak periods, and sometimes team resources feel stretched thin. Also, the approval processes for certain initiatives or requests can feel a bit drawn out, which can slow down progress. Career progression, while possible, isn't always clearly defined and often depends on actively seeking out opportunities rather than a structured path.
Advice to Management: Consider streamlining some of the internal approval processes to improve efficiency, especially during busy periods. Also, formalizing career development paths could benefit employees looking for clearer growth trajectories.
