Pros: You learn a ton as a Software Engineer. Working on new AI/ML product features is great. The team is really smart. Engineering problems are genuinely interesting for a tech startup. We get solid health benefits too.
Cons: The company culture feels pretty top-down. Not much room for junior developers to influence big decisions, even on core product development. WFH flexibility is okay, but they definitely push for more onsite time. Sometimes it feels like people are burning out.
Advice to Management: Focus on building a more inclusive company culture. Let engineering teams have more say in product roadmaps. Give employees more remote work flexibility. Acknowledge and address the signs of potential burnout among the team.
