Pros: The biggest upside here is the stability and job security, which is hard to find these days in the financial sector. I've had opportunities to take on new responsibilities and learn about different aspects of investment management. The team I work with is fantastic, very collaborative and always willing to help out. This makes the day-to-day much more enjoyable.
Cons: While leadership is generally good, sometimes communication about major company changes or strategic shifts can be a bit slow to trickle down. Processes could also be streamlined in a few departments to improve efficiency. It's not a major issue, but small improvements would make a big difference for daily operations.
