Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled
Software Development Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web-based applications, APIs, and database solutions using Microsoft technologies. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-friendly software solutions that support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET Core technologies.
- Develop and enhance RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core API.
- Implement and maintain MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture-based applications.
- Create responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
- Manage source code using Azure Git or GitHub repositories.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support application deployment, maintenance, and production issue resolution.
- Document software designs, technical specifications, and development procedures.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience & Technical Skills
Development Tools
- Experience with:
- Microsoft Visual Studio and/or Visual Studio Code
- SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or MySQL Workbench
- Azure Git, GitHub, or equivalent source control systems
Backend Development
- Knowledge of C# programming language
- Experience developing applications using:
- ASP.NET Core Web Applications
- ASP.NET Core Web API
- Understanding of MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts
Frontend Development
Database Development
- Experience working with:
- Microsoft SQL Server
- MySQL
- Ability to:
- Write complex SQL queries
- Create and modify Stored Procedures
- Perform database performance tuning and optimization
- Support AWS-hosted redundant database environments
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and development practices
