TypeScript Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a talented TypeScript Software Engineer (95% Backend - 5% Frontend) to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of mission-critical software solutions. You will work on scalable backend services while also contributing to frontend features, helping build reliable, secure, and high-performance applications.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges, writing high-quality code, and working in an Agile, collaborative environment.

• Working time: Business hours, 5 days / week, 2 weekoffs / week

Key Responsibilities

Software Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using TypeScript and Node.js.

• Contribute to frontend development when required, ensuring a seamless user experience.

• Develop new features while maintaining high standards for code quality, security, and performance.

• Participate in architecture discussions and propose technical improvements.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Engineering Excellence

• Perform code reviews and promote software development best practices.

• Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Identify and reduce technical debt through continuous improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams.

• Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Quality & Performance

• Ensure applications remain reliable, scalable, and maintainable.

• Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.

• Optimize application performance and database interactions.

• Support CI/CD processes and deployment activities. Design compliance-aware AI systems for regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, pharmaceutical, financial services).

• Take ownership of cloud and infrastructure decisions across AWS (Glue, S3, EMR, EC2), GCP, and edge platforms such as Cloudflare Workers, Vercel, and Netlify.

• Translate ambiguous business requirements into stable, shippable, well-architected systems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.

• English : Professional level

• Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js.

• Good understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.

• Experience building scalable web applications and RESTful APIs.

• Solid knowledge of SQL databases.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in FinTech, banking, insurance, or other highly regulated industries.

• Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.

• Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.

• Familiarity with legacy PHP applications is a plus.

• Experience working in an international environment.
