For our client, we are seeking a Software Developer to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This remote opportunity offers the chance to build and enhance production software that supports regulated business operations and service delivery. In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and improve existing systems with a focus on quality, reliability, and efficiency. You will also contribute to code standards, prototyping efforts, and production support in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $117,200 – $143,200 annually
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical solutions that adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements
- Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions throughout the software development lifecycle
- Partner with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery
- Enhance existing systems by identifying and implementing improvements
- Support development standards by reviewing code and ensuring adherence to best practices
- Participate in the on-call rotation for production support and troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of experience designing software and writing production code in a team environment
- Experience delivering highly scalable solutions in various programming languages and environments
- Proficiency in cloud technology, .NET, C#, PowerShell, JavaScript/Typescript, Python, SQL
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery systems such as Azure DevOps Services or Jenkins
