The Role
• Own features and services end-to-end, from design and development to testing and production operations.
• Shape system designs with input from senior engineers and management.
• Build, test, and ship software through release pipelines, ensuring reliability and correctness.
• Route millions of queries daily across different engine generations without impacting customers.
• Ensure the submission path remains fast and reliable while the underlying engine evolves.
• Focus on correctness, deployment safety, and customer-centric failure modes.
What You'll Need
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling.
• Experience with distributed systems and object-oriented design principles.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
