We are seeking a Sigma Developer / Data & Analytics SME with strong expertise in Sigma Computing and data modeling, along with experience working with Snowflake and supporting data and analytics programs.
The ideal candidate will be hands-on with Sigma development but also comfortable operating at a broader program level—helping coordinate initiatives, manage priorities, track deliverables, and work across business and technology teams. This is not purely a development role; we are looking for someone who can help oversee and drive the work in addition to building solutions. The ideal candidate is a true Sigma SME who understands how to build high-quality analytics solutions and, more importantly, understands the underlying data modeling and Snowflake environment. They should also have enough PMO/program experience to step back from development, help oversee initiatives, coordinate teams, and ensure projects stay organized and on track.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a Sigma Computing subject matter expert, providing guidance on architecture, development, data modeling, and best practices.
- Design and develop dashboards, reports, visualizations, and analytical solutions using Sigma.
- Build and maintain scalable data models that support reporting and analytics requirements.
- Work extensively with Snowflake as the underlying data platform.
- Translate business requirements into effective Sigma dashboards and data solutions.
- Partner with data engineering, analytics, business, and technology teams to ensure data and reporting requirements are met.
- Validate data accuracy, reporting logic, and overall solution quality.
- Help establish and maintain standards for Sigma development, data modeling, documentation, and governance.
- Support multiple data and analytics initiatives and help coordinate priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
- Track project status, risks, dependencies, issues, and action items across initiatives.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Assist with planning, prioritization, and execution of data and analytics projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting capabilities, and overall use of Sigma across the organization.
- Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting when needed while maintaining visibility into the broader program.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Sigma Computing.
- Demonstrated expertise in data modeling, including designing models to support analytics and reporting.
- Experience working with Snowflake and cloud-based data environments.
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
- Experience developing dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions in Sigma.
- Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Experience working across business, data, and technology teams.
- Some experience with PMO, program management, project coordination, or delivery management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
