Experienced Embedded Software Developer, level 4
We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Developer to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining embedded software solutions for advanced, safety-critical systems. You will work in an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable, and secure software using requirement-based development processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded software for various platforms and architectures, with a focus on safety-critical systems
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in accordance with DO-178 standards
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with hardware components
- Participate in requirement analysis and traceability
- Perform software testing and debugging
- Contribute to development processes
- Work in an agile environment
- Stay up-to-date with relevant technologies
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Embedded Software Developer
- Strong programming skills in C and Python
- Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and RTOS
- Familiarity with DO-178 and requirement-based development
- Experience with version control (Git or similar)
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with safety-critical software
- Knowledge of security practices
- Familiarity with HDL (VHDL/Verilog)
- Experience with embedded Linux
- Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink
