Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of complex Java Microservices.
- Define and promote architectural patterns, coding standards and security best practices.
- Take ownership of IAM architecture, including Keycloak, Okta and OIDC.
- Drive technical discussions with Product Owners, Architects and engineering teams.
- Identify and solve performance, scalability and security challenges.
- Lead code reviews and promote engineering quality standards.
- Work with tools such as SonarQube and Snyk.
- Mentor Junior and Mid-Level developers.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including ADRs and technical runbooks.
Essential Skills
- 8+ years of professional experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Microservices.
- Solid knowledge of Software Architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience making technical and architectural decisions.
- Strong experience with IAM / Identity & Access Management.
- Hands-on experience with Keycloak, Okta and OIDC.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization and federation.
- Experience with code reviews, secure coding and quality practices.
- Strong communication and technical leadership skills.
- Experience mentoring and guiding other engineers.
Desired Skills
- Experience as a Java Technical Lead, Java Architect or Software Architect.
- Experience in E-commerce / Unified Commerce environments.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with Keycloak realm architecture and Okta federation.
- Experience working with Product Owners and Enterprise/Solution Architects.
