We are looking for a Account Manager who is responsible for delivering on account revenue and gross margin targets as well as overall client satisfaction and driving innovation and continuous improvement in partnership with internal and external stakeholders in a matrix environment.
Expected key activities include building relationships with client executive stakeholders including the C-suite, owning the client strategy/account plan, building and growing account relationships, overall operational performance and client satisfaction, and growing revenue/margin with the client. The focus of this role is on the sale and delivery of outsourced customer experience solutions including contact center solutions as well as software, analytics and other services, in order to drive better customer experiences and positive outcomes for the client.
The ideal candidate will also bring both a successful track-record in contact center sales selling outcome-based solutions as well as experience providing digital customer engagement solutions or have deep knowledge and sales experience, possibly in field sales. Successful candidates will be able to build strong relationships within existing and new partners, as well as understand where the client needs intersect across all business lines.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Develop and expand business relationships with existing clients through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong network of prospects to ensure a consistent pipeline for conversion into sales.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, creating and managing a pipeline for sustainable growth.
Sales Cycle Management:
- Manage the end-to-end sales process from initial contact to contract, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and transparency.
- Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs) and quotations tailored to client needs and project requirements.
- Oversee the preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring all client requirements are addressed comprehensively.
Client and Partner Engagement:
- Demonstrate the ability to identify and address client business problems, assess risks and profitability, and drive the development of mutually beneficial account plans.
- Effectively negotiate and collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve business objectives.
Team Management:
- Manage operations of cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with client expectations and company objectives.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among team members to achieve business goals and maintain high performance.
- Provide ongoing support, guidance, and motivation to team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Prerequisites
- 3+ years of solid record of technology manpower/outsourcing firm focusing in account management or business development.
- Experience identifying, developing, negotiating and closing large-scale deals
- Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership
- Confidence in your ability to create high volume pipelines and accurately forecast close dates
- Excellent English communication skills – verbal and written
