Accounts Executive will support Financial Controller / Account Manager on financial operations of construction projects.

This position involves assisting with various accounting tasks, Documentation, Filing, Scanning and book keeping, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Follow established procedures and guidelines to accurately maintain the company finanical recrods and transactions.

Ability or strong numerical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Complete assigned daily ledger entries, other finanical transations, collect adn compile simple financial information, assist senior to prepare reports, accounting statements and statistics, these may include but not limited to balance sheets, statements, cash flow, debtor, creditor lists, payment schedules, regulatory reports and filings.

Responsibilities :

• Support Financial Controller in monitor cash flow, manage accounts payable and receivable, and optimize working capital management
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, billing, and collections.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for construction projects.
• Provide timely and accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review includng income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws
• Work closely with project managers to track project costs, analyze variances, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Monitor subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and payments.
• Manage change orders and contract amendments, ensuring accurate documentation and cost impact analysis.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate financial audits and reviews.
• Implement and maintain financial systems and software to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with the finance team to implement and improve to optimize accounting procedures and controls.
• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and pricing agreements.
• Provide administrative support i.e. printing, scanning & filing, book keeping, documentation to the finance department.

Requirements:

Min Diploma in Accounting or Business administration.

Experience in construction accounting or related industry preferred.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Good in relationship management

Responsibilities

• Coordination of Mechanical,Electrical, P&S design and installation.
• Ensure all works are carry out accordingly to drawings, specification, and compliance to authorities’ requirements.
• Site coordination and manage M&E personnel on work progress, drawings, material, samples, method statement submission and approval, to ensure quality and timely completion.
• Manage and Coordinate SWC.
• Preparation of CSD & SEM or CCSM drawings
• Monitoring of construction installation, field coordination and provide necessary problem solving.
• Carry out testing requirement, inspection with consultants.
• Conduct T&C and Handover to Client.

Requirements

Job Description:

• Attend monthly/adhoc meeting with client pertaining to project for accounts/sites assigned by the upline managers;
• Attend site meeting and progress claim meetings, conduct site briefing and recording of Meeting Minutes;
• Supervise and handle all onsite construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations;
• Liaise with client/ stakeholders and monitor contractors’ performance against the project plan and work specifications;
• Effectively liaise with all consultants, contractors/sub-constractors, and relevant authorities;
• Implement and enforce project plans, schedules, and budgets to achieve successful project completion;
• Conduct regular site inspection, toolbox meeting, safety audits, identify potential hazards, and implement preventative measures to mitigate risks;
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and inspection records;
• Handle project management and contract administration, prepare progress claim(s) and liaise with the Client’s representative on claims and variation costs;
• Call quotations, compare prices and prepare bill of quantities for tender pricing;
• Review and verify the subcontractor’s/supplier’s claims and prepare payment certificates;
• Develop project brief, proposal, design intent, pre-qualification of contractor, tender document prior to calling of tender.
• Raise Purchase Requisition / Billing Request in internal system and follow up with Procurement / Finance to ensure timely payment to Contractors and/or Vendors; and
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the upline manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Construction Management/Civil Engineering/M&E Engineering or equivalent academic qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years of related working experience in Construction or Project Management.
• Relevant WSQ Certificates (i.e. Work-At-Height, Supervise Construction Work, etc.) is preferred.
