Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in processing general ledger entries, intercompany transactions, banking transaction, financial and management reporting, accounts reconciliations, statutory audit and tax computation, budgeting and support month-end and year- end accounting close process.
• Perform financial and management reporting related activities and analyse monthly, quarterly results and account balances; identify and interpret key variances, trends, and insights; present key findings to management.
• Manage inventory report monthly including stocktake process and procedure, analyse balances, identify and interpret variances, and present findings to management.
• Manage SST reporting, timely submission and payment to relevant authorities.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agent, solicitors, bankers, company secretary.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations
• Work independently, liaise and communicate effectively on relevant issues.
• Regularly track and resolve outstanding issues identified and escalate to relevant parties as necessary
• Proactively identify, propose and implement continuous process improvement opportunities in existing processes within the team.
• Back-up to A/P and A/R team, where appropriate.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks as required by Chief Finance Officer and Management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree, Master Degree, Finance Accountancy/ Banking or equivalent and hold a current recognized professional accountancy qualification with

Account

- To handle full sets of accounts.

- Responsible for monthly and yearly financial closing

- Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary.

- Manage the day to day business operations of the Account Department

- Monitor company cash flow to ensure sufficient fund and process of payment transactions.

- Responsible for companies’ SST including updates and application of SST exemption, and submission of SST reports. (Schedule A)

- To prepare annual budget

- To liaise with banker, external auditor, tax agent, company secretary and other relevant authorities on their respective matters.

Human Resources

- Assist for new recruitment with interview arrangement.

- Assist for all HR related tasks (employee’s claims, leave application, employee attendance and payroll).

- Assist to monitor the enforcement for HR policies, procedures & appraisal in all department.

- To assist in preparing employment contracts, monitor employee’s probation period, preparation of confirmation, promotion or other HR related letters.

- Assist to maintains the work structure by updating job responsibilities and job descriptions for all positions.

Ad-Hoc

- Any other administrative works or ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Responsibilities: 

Management

• Assist Production manager design and update Engineering team workflow/standard operation procedure from time to time.
   

Reporting

• Prepare regular production reports for management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.
• Maintaining detailed records of production data, analysis, and improvement efforts. This documentation serves as a historical reference and supports decision-making.
   

Development and improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost-saving measures, and quality enhancements.
• Investigating production issues and discrepancies by conducting root cause analysis.
   

Operation

• Responsible for managing the Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure accurate and up-tp-date documentation and receival of item required for production processes.
• Allocating manpower, equipment, and materials effectively to meet production targets and minimize downtime.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet established standard, engineering specifications and quality control measures.
• Addressing and resolving production issues as they arise, including technical problems and bottlenecks in the production line.
• Coordinating equipment maintenance schedules to ensure that machinery and tools are in good working condition and minimizing unplanned downtime.
• Participate actively in ISO and customer audits ensuring that production operations comply with safety regulations, environmental regulations and sustainability goals, implementing safety measures to protect employees and the workplace.
