Job Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Manager to plan, organize, direct and implement the operations and administration of the branch / project in all functional and key result area.
- Good understanding on customer’s requirements and current market trends in construction, oil & gas and/or other sectors/industry.
- Assist Project Manager to take care of all company assets & materials at project site and to keep proper inventory of the assets & materials.
- Work together with Project Manager to determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing and monitor payment collection for project.
- Responsible and become a connecting reference personnel between branch and HQ in the absence of Project Manager.
- To monitor and assist in doing progress claims, supplier claims, subcontractor claims, payments, collections etc.
- Assist Project Manager in terms of manpower requirement, material sourcing, monitoring the project schedule and work orders distribution.
- To attend project site meeting with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, authorities and other relevant parties to ensure smooth progress in the project execution.
- To visit project sites to ensure project is in progress as per the schedule.
- Maintains safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Assist Project Manager to maintain and improve the cost position of branch through continues improvement plan.
Job Requirements:
- Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent in the relevant field.
- Having 1–2 years’ experience in engineering/construction field as Operation/Project Engineer will be an advantage.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Application (Ms Word, Ms Power point, Ms Excel, Ms Project).
- Software: AutoCAD or other equivalent.
- Good communication and negotiation skills and high level of integrity.
- Organized approach and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision & guidance.
- Willing to Re-locate according to Project's location
