General Manager Assistant
We are looking for an experienced assistant general manager to help the general
manager in directing daily business operations. The assistant general manager should
be experienced in a supervisory role, and be able to confidently deliver performance
feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectives.
Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Support
- Manage the General Manager's schedule, including meetings, appointments,
and travel arrangements.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence on behalf of the General
Manager.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and other communications, filtering and
prioritizing as necessary.
2. Meeting Coordination
- Organize and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes,
and following up on action items.
- Ensure all materials for meetings are prepared and distributed in advance.
3. Human Resource Recruitment related
- Design and implement effective recruitment plans to meet the company's
talent needs.
- Use various channels to attract qualified candidates, including job boards, social
media, recruitment agencies, and employee referrals.
- Review resumes and applications to shortlist candidates based on job
requirements.
- Conduct interviews, both in person and online, and coordinate additional
rounds of interviews with relevant managers.
- Oversee the entire recruitment process, from posting job ads to extending job
offers.
- Work closely with management to define the skills and qualifications needed for
open positions.
- Assist with the on-boarding process to ensure new hires are smoothly
integrated into the company.
- Ensure that all recruitment processes are compliant with local labor laws and
company policies.
- Keep up-to-date with hiring regulations and ensure the company adheres to
them.
- Maintain relationships with candidates who may be suitable for future
positions.
4. Communication and Liaison- Serve as a point of contact between the General Manager and internal staff or
external stakeholders.
- Ensure effective communication of management decisions throughout the
organization.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive company matters.
5. Task Delegation and Follow-up
- Assist in delegating tasks to department heads or other staff members as
needed.
- Follow up on deadlines and ensure completion of tasks assigned by the General
Manager.
6. Travel and Event Management
- Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, and
itineraries for the General Manager.
- Plan and manage company events or conferences if required.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field;
2. Extensive experience in in human resources such as providing support to senior
management or executives, with at least 10 years of relevant industry
experience;
3. Great interpersonal and communication skills;
4. Strong problem-solving abilities;
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and
other office management software;
6. Fluent in both Chinese and English communication
