Solid Tech Role with Room to Grow

Overall a positive experience at Codekeeper, a growing tech company in South Africa. Good opportunities for skill development and a collaborative atmosphere. Some areas could see improvement.


Pros

The team environment is fantastic; everyone is supportive and willing to help you learn. As a software engineer, I've had plenty of opportunities to work on diverse projects within the South African tech industry, which has really accelerated my career growth. The company is also open to flexible work arrangements, making it easier to manage personal commitments.


Cons

While career growth is encouraged, the path isn't always clearly defined, leading to some uncertainty about advancement. Sometimes, project demands can lead to extended hours, impacting work-life balance, although this isn't the norm. Better internal communication regarding long-term strategy would also be beneficial.


Advice to Management

Continue fostering the collaborative culture. More structured career pathing and transparent communication about company direction would be greatly appreciated by the team.
