The Role
- Set up and operate PostgreSQL database services on Kubernetes to ensure reliable data availability.
- Develop and implement automated processes for rolling out and managing database solutions using GitOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Collaborate with the Managed Kubernetes team to integrate database solutions into the Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Plan and implement updates, security patches, and new product versions.
- Expand and optimize additional database services on cloud platforms.
What You'll Need
- Completed IT education or degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or related field.
- Profound knowledge of PostgreSQL databases and Kubernetes.
- Initial experience with PostgreSQL HA solutions.
- Passion and enthusiasm for Linux and OpenStack.
- Excellent German and English language skills.
- Team player with a proactive and structured approach to work.
