We are looking for a Middle Full-Stack Java Developer to modernize and maintain enterprise gateway applications using Spring Boot and Angular. You will refactor code, upgrade frameworks and dependencies, and remediate security vulnerabilities across backend services and Angular frontends. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Enhance and upgrade Angular applications across legacy and current codebases
- Remediate security vulnerabilities reported by automated scanning tools
- Resolve findings from static analysis and code quality reviews to improve maintainability
- Apply fixes, restructure code, and update dependencies and framework versions
- Optimize application performance, stability, and security through targeted technical changes
- Participate in code reviews while following secure development standards
- Collaborate with technical leads, QA, architects, and security specialists
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents while upholding strong engineering quality
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in Java development
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot to build and maintain REST APIs
- Practical exposure to Angular (preferably version 8 or later) in production environments
- Solid background in remediating security vulnerabilities using tools like Veracode or equivalent solutions
- Proven track record improving code quality with CAST, SonarQube, or comparable platforms
- Strong TypeScript and RxJS knowledge to support Angular frontend maintenance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities paired with a high sense of ownership
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with the Apigee API management platform
- Experience modernizing enterprise-scale applications
- Hands-on work with framework migrations and version upgrades
- Knowledge of build tools such as Maven or Gradle
- Practice with testing tools like Jasmine, Karma, or Protractor
