On behalf of our Government client, Procom is searching for a DevOPS/Cloud Engineer - Senior for a 10-month role. This position is onsite 5 days a week at our client’s Toronto office.
DevOPS/Cloud Engineer - Senior - Job Description:
This role involves working on a critical project focused on cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The project includes designing, deploying, and maintaining hybrid infrastructure environments across various cloud platforms.
DevOPS/Cloud Engineer - Senior - Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and support cloud environments to create digital products
- Monitor and assess the performance of applications in a cloud environment
- Create, test, and implement safeguards to maintain data integrity and protect against unauthorized access
- Design, build, develop, and administer CI/CD pipelines
- Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
DevOPS/Cloud Engineer - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
- Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, PHP, Java, JavaScript, Node
- Ability to design and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with identity and access management using Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
- Familiarity with development tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, and Maven
- Experience with container-based virtualization technology like Docker
- Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
DevOPS/Cloud Engineer - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools
- Familiarity with security tools like Radware, Dynatrace, and Splunk
- Experience in mobile device management
- Knowledge of industry web, architectural, and security standards
- Experience with project management skills
DevOPS/Cloud Engineer - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 10-month contract position.
