Analyze, explore, and structure utility network maintenance data to extract actionable insights for business teams;
Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines on Databricks / Delta Lake, ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability;
Model and structure data (dimensional models, relational models) to meet the analytical needs of the team;
Ensure data quality, governance, and traceability throughout processing workflows;
Support end-to-end deliveries: from understanding the need to release, including design, development, testing, documentation, and support;
Collaborate closely with the Distribution business teams and data experts to ensure the relevance and quality of the solutions delivered.
The profile we are looking for is as follows:
Possess a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience;
Quickly understand business problems and translate them into concrete analytical solutions;
Collaborate with various profiles (electrical engineers, IT platform teams, business analysts) and popularize analysis results;
Master SQL for data extraction, transformation and validation;
Master data modeling practices (dimensional and relational models);
Know Databricks and modern data architectures (Delta Lake, Spark, Unity Catalog);
Proficient in Python for data analysis and automation;
Understand the issues of data quality, governance and traceability;
Know software development practices (testing, version control with Git, CI/CD, documentation);
Use the following technologies and tools: Python, SQL, Databricks / Delta Lake, Spark / PySpark and Git;
This position requires working primarily in French, while requiring a functional command of English for daily tasks. This English proficiency is essential for understanding documentation and ensuring professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada.
