Key Responsibilities:

• Position requires 3-6 years of quality management experience.

• Good experience into customer & supplier audit and able to conduct training

• ISO 13845 experience will be added advantage.

• Demonstrates introductory understanding and ability and with guidance, applies competency in typical situations.

• Able to design quality systems to meet customer expectations and internal needs. New approaches and continuous improvement must be ongoing

• Good interpersonal skills to be able to communicate and collaborate with all stakeholders and deal with situation proactively

• Junior with 1-2 experience in related field can also apply

• Occasionally overseas travel and weekly conference call is required for the role

• This position required to communicate closely with vendors in China.

Responsibilities

• Must possess hand-on experience to correlate, investigate and resolve matters pertaining to quality issues
• Co-ordinate with various departments and customer on quality issues
• Perform data analysis based on customer feedback, identifying trends and areas of improvement.
• Regularly updates and maintain documentation including ISO documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards
• Support cross functions in addressing customers’ complaints and inquiries, doing site inspections and generating the relevant reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant standards
• Strong analytical, meticulous and problem-solving skills
• Highly motivated and pro-active personality, with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge and experience in ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and ISO 13485 Quality System would be advantage
• Follow-up other duties as required

Requirements

• Diploma in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering/Quality or equivalent
• Minimum 3-4 years relevant experience
• Able to start work within short notice/immediately will be advantageous

Job Description:

• Responsible for quality issues arising from production and customer feedback and collaborate with the production tea to address internal process issues and implement corrective actions to resolve customer complaints with proper documentation.
• Implement the quality inspection standards, on incoming, in process and outgoing inspections, and provide QA inputs to production to resolve quality-related issues at in-process and final inspections.
• Responsible for timely closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), non-conformance investigation report and customer complaints and, publish reports on quality performance.
• Lead the Material Review Board (MRB) meeting involving members from production, engineering and quality departments to conduct root cause analysis, address quality issues, implement corrective actions and review its effectiveness.
• Lead the team of QC inspectors in the inspection of parts for conformity in accordance with relevant drawing requirements.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure committed schedules are met in a timely and effectively manner.
• Perform any other duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma or degree in precision engineering, Quality Management or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of working experience in quality engineering or in manufacturing
• Possess excellent leadership & teamwork abilities and organizational skills
• Knowledge and application of quality tools - SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, CPK, 8D Report, GR&R and Minitab.
• Proficient in understanding engineering drawings with sound knowledge of GD&T (Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 13485 quality system
• Mandarin speaker is preferred (to liaise with Mandarin speaking China & Taiwan stakeholders)
